new to the springs

Hi, Running MOSS 2007 Ent Edition with IE 6.0 SP2. Have deployed solution to MOSS and created custom list as prescribed. Added web part to page and all I get is a blank web part pane with no scrolling text. Have tried transparant view etc but still no joy. Any help appreciated. Thanks Steve
