1) How can we verify the email address of a user when he/she first registers

Not allowing a member to login in immediately after initial registration does not help. The member can login using the same id/pass even if she/her has provided a wrong email address?

2) Also, how do we verify the email again when the user changes/update email once logged in?

3) Also, is there a way to redirect a user only when he first logs in to the registration page to force him to update his profile? This should only happen at the first initial login. Like the Core registration module does. After the user has a valid profile then she/he automatically goes to the home page.

Thank you.

1. Hi. Sorry for the late response. Please go to Admin, Site Settings and change your registration type (under advanced settings) to 'Verified'. Then within your email completion event sent to the user you can use the tokens $(VerificationCode) and $(VerificationCodeLink). You can search the forums more for specific steps (I would search for those tokens are there are many threads related to this)

2. Unfortunatly this is not currently a feature the module offers

3. Hi. Well you should be able to either make the fields you want required, or go to Admin, User Accounts, User Settings and choose to 'Force valid profile upon login'. This will use the Core profile properties to force an update, unfortunatly controlling and forcing the user to redirect to a Dynamic Registration feature is an option that we cannot control (it will require DNN Core team to add a feature to allow the redirect to go to a custom registration page for this and that is not something the module offers)
