Hallo Chad,

CSV import doesn't seem to work as it's supposed to.

Things go wrong when one field is empty. I try to explain with an example:

This input:

FieldName1,FieldNamre2,FieldName3

Value1,,Value3

Will result in this output

FieldName1  =>  Value1

FieldName2 => Value3

FieldName3 =>

So The empty field isn't detected and the data of the following field is put in it's place.

An other problem is when the CSV contains qoutemarks around the fields, for example

"Value1","Value2", "Value3"

The Quotemarks shouldn't be imported, but they are.

I worked around the problem by using Excel import, so there's no hurry in solving this problem. But It was very frustrating until I found the Excel workaround.

Regards,

Hi.  I am running into the same issue if I have mising data for fields in my import file.

Does anyone know of a fix for this or how I can format my import data file differently.

Thanks.
